Yes, Patch My PC has a cloud-only version specifically designed for Intune, known as Patch My PC Cloud. This version allows organizations to manage and deploy third-party applications directly within Microsoft Intune without needing any on-premises infrastructure.
It simplifies the process by providing a cloud-based solution that integrates seamlessly with Intune.
Our cloud-only version, released in July 2024, offers different features and functionality compared to our on-premises Publisher for Intune.
You can find a detailed feature comparison on our documentation page. Additionally, view and submit feature requests through our UserVoice platform.
To help you choose the best option for your needs, we recommend scheduling a live demo.
Patch My PC integrates with ConfigMgr via the ConfigMgr SDK to publish applications. For Intune, it integrates using Entra ID, either through an Enterprise application or App registration, with the Intune Management Extension handling deployments.
Yes, Patch My PC is compatible with GCC, but you must use the Patch My PC Publisher, not our SaaS version. When creating the Azure App Registration, make sure to point to the GCC High URL, as documented here.
Yes, a 30-day full-access trial is available, allowing you to evaluate the complete catalog and features.
Applications are generally updated the same day upon release by vendors, ensuring your systems receive the latest security fixes without delay.
You can view our full release history here.
Our goal is to release updates the same day the vendor releases the update. We generally release our catalog between 1:00 – 5:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time). You can review a full list of past catalog releases at catalog release history.
If a security update is released later in the afternoon, we often release two catalogs in a scenario where the update is a high-security risk. More minor non-security updates released later in the afternoon will be updated the following business day.
For us to release an update to production, it needs to pass our security validation and installation validation checks.
Our catalog includes 2,305 applications, and it’s constantly growing.
You can view the most up-to-date count on our supported products page.
