Usage Context

When can an external partner logo be co-branded?

An external partner logo may be co-branded with the Patch My PC logo only when there is a formal, approved partnership in place—such as through our MSP, Reseller, or Partner programs. Co-branding is permitted on joint marketing materials, solution briefs, landing pages, and event collateral where both brands are contributing or featured. All co-branded assets must be pre-approved by Patch My PC to ensure brand alignment and must follow our logo usage and attribution guidelines. Co-branding should never imply endorsement, certification, or integration unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.

Where the Logo May Appear:

The Patch My PC logo may be displayed in digital or print materials when referencing an official partnership, integration, or compatibility. It must be presented in a clear, uncluttered space with ample padding and may not be stretched, skewed, recolored, or combined with other visual elements. The logo must not appear in any context that implies endorsement, sponsorship, or exclusive affiliation unless part of an approved co-branded initiative.

Using the Patch My PC brand name:

To maintain consistency and clarity in how we represent ourselves, we are always Patch My PC: not PMPC, Patch my PC, PmPC, or any other variation. The correct way to refer to our company is always Patch My PC, with “Patch,” “My,” and “PC” capitalized.
When writing about our brand, Patch My PC should never be shortened or altered. Always use all words in their proper formatting to ensure proper brand recognition and consistency across all materials.
By consistently referring to us as Patch My PC and following these guidelines, we reinforce our brand identity and ensure that our name is recognized and remembered correctly across all communications.

Attribution Requirements

Any use of the logo should include clear attribution to Patch My PC using approved language such as “Partnered with Patch My PC” or “Powered by Patch My PC,” where appropriate. Attribution must be visible and legible, and should never mislead viewers about the nature of the partnership. All attribution language must be reviewed by the Patch My PC communication and branding team if used in public-facing or co-marketed content — [email protected].

Partnered with Patch My PC

Use the attribution “Partnered with Patch My PC” when the collaboration is based on a strategic partnership, co-marketing effort, or joint offering—typically where both brands contribute value, visibility, or messaging.

Examples:

  • A webinar co-hosted by Patch My PC and a managed service provider
  • A solution brief highlighting the joint value of Patch My PC and a reseller’s services
  • A landing page promoting a bundled offering between Patch My PC and a technology integration partner

Powered by Patch My PC

Use the attribution “Powered by Patch My PC” when the partner’s offering or service is built on, enabled by, or integrates Patch My PC technology, especially where Patch My PC is the underlying engine but not the co-branded face of the product.

Examples:

  • An MSP’s patch management service that uses Patch My PC as the backend solution
  • A reseller’s endpoint management bundle where Patch My PC drives software updates
  • A dashboard, tool, or report that relies on Patch My PC’s update catalog or automation engine
