What is Patch Quest?
Patch Quest celebrates our MMS community. Inspired by IT, nerdy nostalgia, and all things patching, this tradition encourages attendees to collect trading cards, and to connect and collaborate with peers familiar and new. Trade amongst attendees to get matching sets and redeem for prizes at the Patch Quest window.

Trade with other attendees to complete card sets.
Turn in card sets to win prizes.
Where To Get Cards
A starter pack is distributed when you pick up your conference badge. Booster packs of cards containing 5 cards of various rarity will be distributed throughout the week.
Visit the Patch Quest window daily.
Ask questions and participate in sessions.

Patch Quest window schedule
The Patch Quest window is next to the skybridge entrance, near the restrooms, and will be open daily for pack distribution and prize claiming.

Mon, Wed — 8-9:30am, 11am-12:30pm, 2:30-4pm.
Tue, Thu — 9:30-Noon, 3:30-5pm.
How to Win
Patch Quest cards consists of 100 unique designs across IT focused categories. Designed so that you must network and trade with peers at MMS MOA to win prizes. Collect cards from the same color set to turn in at the Patch Quest window at the end of the skybridge.
Tier 1
The highest tier and most difficult to obtain. This consists of collecting 19 of the 20 cards, all from a single color.
Each person is eligible to win one tier 1 prize throughout the week.
All 8 different common cards.
All 6 different uncommon cards.
All 4 different rare cards.
1 of 2 different super rare cards.
Tier 1 prizing
Once you have 19 of the 20 unique cards from a single color, turn them in at the Patch Quest window when it’s open to be entered into a raffle for the tier 1 prize.
Have a Golden Ticket card? Bring it to booth and instantly win one of the Tier 1 prizes!
Tier 2
Requiring moderate trading amongst peers, tier 2 consists of collecting 16 of the 20 cards, all from a single color.
Each person is eligible to win one tier 2 prize throughout the week.
All 8 different common cards.
All 6 different uncommon cards.
2 of 4 different rare cards.
Tier 2 prizing
Once you have 16 of the 20 unique cards from a single color, turn them in at the Patch Quest window when it’s open claim your tier 2 prize.
Tier 3
Designed to be obtainable and encourage trading extra cards to new players, tier 3 consists of collecting 14 of the 20 cards, all from a single color.
Each person is eligible to win two tier 3 prizes throughout the week.
All 8 different common cards.
All 6 different uncommon cards.
Tier 3 prizing
Once you have 14 of the 20 unique cards from a single color, turn them in at the Patch Quest window when it’s open claim your tier 3 prize.
Tier 4
Tier 4 consists of collecting either 8 common cards from all from a single color or 12 different cards of any color.
Each person is eligible to win multiple tier 4 prizes throughout the week.
All 8 different common cards from one color.
12 different cards from any color.
Tier 4 prizing
Once you have either all 8 common from a single color or 12 different cards from any color, turn them in at the Patch Quest window when it’s open to claim your tier 4 prize of gift cards to FireLake Grill or Starbucks.
Patch Quest Color Sets
There are 20 different Common Vulnerabilities and Exports (CVE) cards — 10 cards that you may remember and 10 new CVEs that made an impact this last year.
One of two set of 10 purple cards. SCCM Codenames is joined this year by a new purple set of cards, Tech Support Bingo.
One of two set of 10 purple cards. Tech Support Bingo brings us together with scenarios we can relate to at least once in our lives.
There are 20 different Classic Background and Screensaver cards this year — 10 classic Windows Backgrounds and Screensavers and 10 new ones including a few from Apple machines.
We’re expanding the Most Important Apps to Patch to include 20 to different cards.
One of two set of 10 green cards. Computer Models Through The Ages is joined this year by a new green set of cards, IT Super Personas.
One of two set of 10 green cards. IT Super Personas are new this year and give industry personas the super powers they deserve.
