Vendor sorting order:
One thing that you may have noticed is not all the vendors within our catalog are ordered alphabetically.
See the sample screen shot below:
This is due to the way SCUP 2011 exports updates when creating the CAB file. Updates are exported in a order based on the update name.
This can cause the vendors to be exported in a different orders if the update name doesn’t start with the vendor name.
For example, If a update named “Chrome 37.0.2062.120” is in a vendor folder named “Google” this would cause “Google” to show up above “Citrix” as a vendor since Chrome would be exported and then imported before Citrix Receiver.
Changes we made to make vendors sort alphabetically:
In order to make vendors sort alphabetically, we have made some edits to some update names and vendor names.
These changes will allow any newly imported catalog (.CAB) file to sort the vendors alphabetically as shown below.
Note: This will not re-order the vendors if you have already have imported our catalog prior to these changes.

Duplicate/Empty Vendors:
It’s likely you will have two vendors now in the SCUP 2011 console for the vendors that were renamed with this catalog update. You may have an empty vendor folder with no updates for old vendor names. If so, you can delete the duplicate vendor.
Example of vendor with no updates:
