I am trying to upload the application file for a Patch My PC (PMPC) Cloud Binary Free App, but after selecting the file, I get the following:

Error

Unable to verify the file you are trying to upload. Please ensure you have uploaded the correct file.

CAUSE

This error is caused either by you selecting a file that doesn’t match the:

  • Metadata we hold for the Binary Free App in our App Catalog
  • Configuration set on the General Information tab of the Binary Free App.

For example, you could have selected an installer with the wrong:

  • Version
  • Language
  • Architecture
  • File size Installer type

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, ensure you are using the correct version of the file and file type.
