Unhandled Exception Error

When Launching on my workstation for testing I was given this error after about 5 seconds of waiting. This is a fresh download from the website and haven't ran the software before.

This happens everytime i launch the software,
A little bit about my workstation.

Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1
Intel Core i3 530 @ 2.93GHz
8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24)

I've figured out where the 500 internal server error comes from
It would be because it is blocked by Forticlient anti-virus. I'm curious why the patchmypc.net is blocked by Fortinet?
Forticlient is a well respected anti-virus solution and i know there is a such thing as false positives but forticlient is listing the domain as a malicious website. Any insight on why this would be so?

We read a XML file to obtain information about the latest versions of applications. Not sure why this would be blocked by this product.
