Latest Auslogics update
« on: August 25, 2012, 04:41:29 AM »
Seems letting the latest auslogics update install via patch my pc also let the ask toolbar install  :-[

I got asked if I wanted to uninstall the old version first but pretty sure I never got asked by the installer if I wanted the annoying crap-ware that comes with it.

Edit:

PatchMyPc also seems to still think auslogics needs an update even though it did update successfully and is already the latest version (3.5)

There installer stinks! It always ask to remove the previous version and there is no way to not allow the toolbar in silent installs (It seems random). I'm debating on removing this program from PMPC because i've heard this a could times.... I will correct the version problem today..

Yep I was thinking of switching to another App instead although not sure if you can recommend a decent defrag tool

I just let Windows defrag auto run on my PC :). But Defraggler is good and is included in PMPC.
