Hey Josh, looks like we missed this! :( So thank you for the heads up! We just added it now to the catalog :)

Quote from: matt84 on September 30, 2024, 12:24:13 AMI uninstalled HWiNFO64, and the installed via Patch My PC Home Updater 4.5.0.5, and every time I open up Patch My PC Home Updater, it shows red as in it needs updating. Why?

Because each time I update it, it just reinstalls 8.10 again and then re-scanning in Path My PC it shows up red again.

What is going on with the detection of HWiNFO64?

I already explained in this post:

Quote from: Omar (Patch My PC) on August 23, 2024, 02:54:51 AMThis is the vendor's problem, v8.10 didn't replace v8.06! And they also changed the name! That's why Patch My PC is detecting both! We will improve this is the next big update of the home updater, it will no longer detect the older versions installed, just the latest one, and will not have a problem with the name changes.

Hey Matt,
This is because there is a new update for it today (24.0.0.26), and it's in the catalog now :)

They haven't updated the 32-Bit this time for the first time ever! So I just switched it to 64-bit for now.

It's updated now! Thank you :)

We stopped supporting Microsoft products like: Edge, Teams, OneDrive and more, simply because they are bundled with Windows, they auto update themselves and most importantly they have multiple installers for multiple types! EXE, MSI, Business edition and Home Edition etc, And we were using just one type in Patch My PC, so if you are using another type, then Patch My PC corrupt the application for you or leave 2 editions installed! This happened in the past with OneDrive, so we decided to remove it and not add any Microsoft apps again (That are bundled with Windows) specially since they silently auto update themselves perfectly.

This issue has been like this for more than a year now! looks like the developers doesn't care about fixing it!
I just switched the version number to 1.0 indefinitely! (But it will always download the latest)
Please let me know if they fixed this one day and the latest version number started to show up in the Add/Remove Programs after each self-update.

In this case you can right click on Ubisoft Launcher in Patch My PC, and select "Disable Silent Installation for this app" (Second option) and reinstall it manually, once the installer starts, you will be able to choose the language first.

Only the interface of Patch My PC is in French and that's if your Windows is in French, And when your Windows is in French, it will automatically install any app in French! That has nothing to do with Patch My PC! If an app installed in English, and it doesn't have other languages in its settings, then the app is in English only.

This one is for the home updater apps:
Home Updater: Request a New Application | Patch My PC

But this one is for the catalog (Enterprises/Paid) apps:
Patch My PC Feature and Application Request

Anyway, most of the ones that are in the home updater poll has been added already in the upcoming new major update which will be released soon :)
