Unhandled exception - Error creating the Web Proxy specified

Hi,

I've been having issues with the above. PatchMyPC will not open in a working state as a result.
I don't have any proxy settings set on my system to my knowledge (at least not in Internet Options > LAN Settings) so I'm not sure what web proxy is being referred to.
Details of the error message below.

Any help would be appreciated if this is my end. I want to be able to use PatchMyPC again.

Apologies, not sure how I missed your reply months ago!
It no longer happens. I'm not sure what changed but various updates to Windows could have made the difference as I did not install an updated version of Patch My PC at any time before it started working again.

Patch My PC updates itself automatically and we made a lot of changes since you posted this.
Let us know if there is any other problem
