Mozilla incorrect versions

Hello everyone,
I just installed PMP and I'm a bit perplexed because it incorrectly detects the installed versions of Thunderbird and Firefox in the right panel, albeit they are correct in the left panel. (see screenshot)
But maybe that's just because I don't really understand the difference between these two panels...

What should I do? I don't want to launch an update, because these two programs are already up to date and I don't know what could happen in this case! ???
Thank you in advance for your help !

The right panel shows what version is currently installed. The left panel shows the version PMP wants to install.

FYI, Firefox Browsers latest version is 127.0.2 and Thunderbird's latest version is 115.12.2, so your installed versions are actually out of date.

@Balathustrius
Thanks for your answer. In fact, my Thunderbird & Firefox were really up-to-date when I posted this question in June...
But now, these both progs are in the versions you indicated, and PMP still wrongly detects their version, as well as VLC and Audacity :

Audacity 3.3.3 (32-bit)                   actual Audacity 3.3.3 (32-bit)
Mozilla Firefox (x64 fr)  -  121.0.1      actual 127.0.2 64 bits
Mozilla Thunderbird (x64 fr)  -  115.6.1  actual 115.12.2 supernova
VLC media player  -  3.0.20               actual 3.0.21 vetinary

Do you think the developers sometimes look at this forum ? ???  ::)

Do you know where I could find a user's manual for PMP ?

Thank you !

I don't have that issue with Firefox and my PMP, but I use the "en-US" version of Firefox and not the "fr" version, so that could be the difference in detection.

Likewise, I also don't have that issue with VLC 3.0.21, as it detects the correct version as being installed and up-to-date.

I don't use the other apps, so I cannot comment there.

Yes, it might be the french version that causes the problem... I think the question should be asked to the developers, but I don't know how to do! :'(

I just did it. Thanks for the idea! 8)

This means you have several versions installed at the same time, and FR and EN-US too for Firefox! you need to use one and uninstall the rest.

Malbec

Thanks for your answer!

No, I only have the french version... But there is a funny thing: as you can see on the included picture, Revo pro "sees" the same version numbers as PMP

I don't know how these programs determine Mozilla's versions, but it's obviously the same (wrong) method... :D

Malbec

The problem is still here... Does anybody has an idea ?
Thank you !

This is Mozilla's problem, looks like their installers doesn't update the version in the registry sometimes!
I noticed that you are using the French version of Firefox and Thunderbird, I recommend you to download and install the installers manually (only this time), it might fix the version numbers!

These are the latest French 64-Bit versions of Firefox and Thunderbird:

Thanks Omar for your answer!
But before I received it, I tried another option: I let PMP "update" my already up-to-date Firefox...
Eventually, all went well. Firefox version is now correctly detected and the program doesn't seem to have been affected by the operation, and it's still in French, that was my main concern.
So, I won't bother any more and let PMP apply all the patches it suggests
Thank you for your help  :)

Aha! I think when they auto update themselves, they don't update the version in the registry (in some cases), but when you use the installer, it updates it fine!
Anyway, glad that it worked and everything is ok now :) And you are welcome!

What a mess, this register! Real OSes don't have any and they perform very well without : Storing information in several places has never been a good practice... >:(
