Google Chrome update no applicable

Hi Everyone,

We have an issue with new versions of google chrome, only around 5% of our devices are receiving the update, the rest of the computers running old versions is showing as "non applicable" when update is deployed to Intune.

Is this a known issue? Quite a big issue for us since we have a lot of devices now running an old version of google chrome

I can see that we have had this issue for at least the latest 5 versions

Hi Daniel,
Are these computers running Windows 8.1/8 or Windows 7? Google dropped the supported for these old OSes ever since v111, therefore you can't install or update any new version of Chrome or any Chromium browser on them, therefor we excluded them in the detection rules.

Sadly not, 99% is running either Windows 11 or Windows 10.

We are seeing this as well. Only a small percentage of our Windows 10 devices are getting this update via the package for Intune. Majority are returning Not Applicable.
