Python not being packaged despite it being in the catalog

Hi,

We have a requirement for having older versions of Python available for install.

Python 3.7 up until 3.12 are available in the catalog.
However, only Python 3.11 and 3.12 is actually working.

When you double click on the other version in the publisher, there is no entry there with a Download URL, Command-Line, etc...

I would appreciate if you can fix this.

Python 3.7, 3.8 and 3.9 are now end of life and no longer receive updates from the vendor.

Following Patch My PC's end of life policy, these applications have been declined in our catalogue and will be removed in due course.

You can no longer create Python 3.7, 3.8 or 3.9 using Patch My PC's Publisher.

That is too bad.
You could have at least let the lates available version in there for those in need.

Looking at the Python page, 3.9 will receive updates until October 2025 and 3.8 will receive them until October 2024. Can these be reinstated in the catalog until then?

That is correct, however they are no longer releasing updates for Windows installers which is why we have removed them.

Provided irregularly on an "as-needed" basis until October 2025.

Yup!

Python 3.9.19 was released on March 19, but not for Windows devices. This was only released for Linux based operating systems.

That is correct, however they are no longer releasing updates for Windows installers which is why we have removed them.

Updates are irrelevant in this particular case. If the software is in the catalog, we can at least make them available for our end-users without having to package everything manually.
