Unhandled exception - Hexadecimal value 0x1F is an invalid character

I have started getting this error recently even with the current Patch My PC version.

Please remove Patch My PC and download it again from here:
https://patchmypc.net/download
And try again.

I am receiving the same error, I already have the latest version of  3.2.0.1 that I just downloaded. I am currently on .net 4.7. Please let me know what I can do to rectify the issue as I don't see an option to uninstall the current version.
