Version 5 does not honor scaling settings for laptop

Version 5 does not seem to be DPI-aware.

It is compressing columns in the apps list, and when manually sized, does not offer a horizontal scroll bar to see the columns out of view.

The top selection "App Library" is partially overlayed by "My Apps".

Doesn't look like I can edit the first post...

Ran the Compatibility Troubleshooter on the executable, and tested with "Scaling on high DPI".

Did not fix the issue.

Windows 10 22H2.

This is weird! I'm using 200% DPI at 4K and never faced this issue!
Can you please send us a screeenshot and tell us what's exactly the resolution that you are using and at what percentage of DPI?

OldNavyGuy

Resolution is 1366 x 768, and 125% scaling.

No issues with any other app.

Windows 10 22H2.

It is weird, but I uninstalled version 5 on 2 machines, and will go back to version 4 until the next release.

Someone else will probably pop up with a similar issue.

Omar (Patch My PC)

1366 x 768 is already extremely small :) The DPI is mainly for high resolutions on small screens! Doing 125% on 768p will create issues everywhere, not just in our home updater! but we will look into this :)

OldNavyGuy

1366 x 768 is the recommended display resolution for this particular laptop.

And, no...it doesn't create issues everywhere.

Scaling at 125% works well for all other apps on that system.

Could you send a screenshot of how it looks in this resolution at 125%.

I tried resizing too, but no luck with the horizontal scroll.
