Hello. As I see that https://patchmypc.com/home-updater-vote-for-new-apps has been abandoned for some time, I began to think that it could be because it may or may not require time and effort for you guys to find the appropriate download links and launch arguments for them.

So I thought: Would it speed things up a bit if crafty fans of Patch My PC included such info in their submissions? A functional example for Poedit:

Poedit
https://download.poedit.net/Poedit-<version number>-setup.exe
/silent

Would this be something you admins would want us to do? Or would it perhaps be necessary to include other types of info as well?

This is somewhat of an issue for me too. For me (a Norwegian), this is most particularly a problem with Firefox and Thunderbird, since Mozilla still doesn't know how languages or multi-processing really works. Since Patch My PC overwrites my existing Norwegian installations of them with English ones (as Norwegian isn't an option in Patch My PC's language download setting), I've had to turn off auto-updating of those programs manually.

Seeing how Patch My PC already does support a fair amount of the programs on my PCs, I'll just as well suggest most of the rest of the programs that I also have, in random order.

Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit's beta releases (and NOT the stable releases)Ôü¢┬╣Ôü¥

Feel free to add whichever ones you want to. I'm not the most picky guy out there.

Ôü¢┬╣Ôü¥ = As of 19:00 GMT on the 30th of January, the stable release channel is deleting users' (or at least my) Anti-Exploit installations and replace them with Malwarebytes 3, which does not have free anti-exploit protection.
