We don't have the option to ONLY download the installers.

Is this feature coming?


So we thankfully got the option to keep and reuse downloaded installers.  So we can efficiently, quickly update all our computers on our home networks/etc.  Without wasting internet data/time/electricity/carbon downloading the same files 5 times.

This would be exceptionally painful now that apps like DaVinci Resolve are on the list!
Imagine having to download 2.3 GIGABYTES 5 times!

Why do we need it?  Why was it correctly in the v4 of PMPC?
Because sometimes we need to do provisioning...  We need to download/update all the installers for the apps we want to install LATER...  So you have your complete selection on your network share, in your software folder, your USB stick, etc... so you can go and update all your clients quickly, without wasting internet data/time/etc...  And you can provision the USB stick with everything you need when you're visiting your parents, and will be updating their computer.

Let's hope this feature also makes a return.
