Via the "Manage conflicting processes" function we have configured updates for an app (Zoom) to terminate, while providing the ability to defer for one day. The users are not presented with the "snooze" button/option.

Do we have the MCP function configured properly to allow the user to defer?

Hi PRABB32256,
Did you initially not have the 'defer' option set, and then added it after the Update was already Published?

If you made the change after, you will need to Republish the Update so that the Defer option is within the package files.

Hi PRABB32256,

Is this behavior observed only with Zoom, or with other updates as well?

Also, I can see that the timeout configured is for 300 seconds (i.e., 5 minutes), but in the user notification window, it's presented as 43 minutes.

I believe the 43 minute timer is what's left of the "notification + 1 day" deferral period.

We reset everything (no notification, no auto-close), then did a republish.

After waiting a day, we set the notifications to the same as depicted above, then republished.

Users are now seeing the snooze button.

Hi there,

Thanks for posting the screenshot.

If you make any changes to the right-click customization, such as MCP, the app needs to be republished to Intune/CM.

Since users are now able to see the Snooze button, I assume the issue has been resolved. Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
