Error: Unknown (0x87D30000)

Hello community,

Since we enabled the UltraVNC Intune updates last week, it seems that we get many installation failures (27%) with the error message Unknown (0x87D30000).

Is it a known error? How can we correct it?

Hi there Iraklis,

Sorry to hear you are having issues with UltraVNC, we do not have a global reported issue, so most likely is something related to your own enviroment, would you be so kind as to send us some logs over to [email protected] so that we can have a look and hopefully fix the issue for you? Ideally server side and client side logs from one of those devices where the installation failed.

You can check the link below for the logs we will need from your side, depending if you are using PMPC with SCCM or with Intune:

Look at the logs on the affected devices to gather more information about why the installation failed. You can check the AppEnforce.log file located in C:\Windows\CCM\Logs\ on the client machines for more details. This log file provides information about the application deployment process, including errors and exit codes that can help diagnose the problem.

Ok, thank you guys.

The fact that there isn't any generall issue with the product is enough info to communicate internally. In case it escalates again I'll ask for the logs and if necessary raise a ticket at the support.
