For anyone using Windows Autopilot/Azure joined machines and Intune, I was able to get the installer to add users to "docker-users" by tweaking the above script that Dan linked to by swapping out the "Add-LocalGroupMember" cmdlet for "net localgroup".

The full script would look like this:

}

$local_group = "docker-users"
$local_group_members = Get-LocalGroupMember -name $local_group

# Getting current session user
$currentUser = get-wmiobject win32_process -Filter "name='explorer.exe'" |
    ForEach-Object { $_.GetOwner() } | Select-Object -Unique -Expand User

# If user is not in 'docker-users' add current user
if (!($local_group_members -contains $currentUser)){
    net localgroup $local_group /add "AzureAD\[email protected]"
}
else {
    write-host "$currentUser already in group"
    Exit
}

Just update the domain in that line to match yours and it should be good to go!

Hi, the August Update for Microsoft PowerBI Desktop is having an issue. It is version 2.132.908 released yesterday via PatchMyPC. There is already a new one available 2.132.1053 which according to Microsoft fixes the previous issue. When will this be available via PatchMyPC?

I have performed several updates to Viber, always using PatchMyPC. As it updates, older versions are shown as "needing update", but on my PC there is only one version (a single "viber.exe"). I think it is a software bug.

This may be found in the %ProgramData%\PatchMyPC\ if the Install was initiated by the user from Company Portal.
%ProgramData%\PatchMyPCIntuneLogs\PatchMyPC-SoftwareDetectionScript.log

%ProgramData%\Microsoft\IntuneManagementExtension\Logs\AgentExecutor.log
%ProgramData%\Microsoft\IntuneManagementExtension\Logs\IntuneManagementExtension.log
%ProgramData%\PatchMyPC\PatchMyPC-UserNotification.log
%ProgramData%\PatchMyPC\UISettings\UINotificationSettings.xml

Deployed balenaEthcher via PatchMyPC Cloud.  Application is installed sucesfully.  But detection logic appears to be incorrect.

All devices reporting "The application was not detected after installation completed successfully (0x87D1041C)"

HWiNFO detection seems to be broken, since 8.10 was recently released.

In Windows Settings > Apps, the old 8.06 version was listed as:
HWiNFO64
In Windows Settings > Apps, the new 8.10 version is listed as:
HWiNFO® 64

But now, PatchMyPC doesn't think it's installed anymore.

Can you please fix the detection?

Thanks,
Jacob
