We will improve this is the next big update of the home updater, it will no longer detect the older versions installed, just the latest one.
Thanks Omar.
On my other PC I also have Viber installed, but it updates automatically (not ising PatchMyPC). I don't see there the multiple versions of Viber in PatchMyPC, which makes me think the problem has to do with the way PatchMyPC invokes the Viber installer.
In the "problematic" PC I just uninstalled from the control panel only the oldest version, and it uninstalled all of them.

Hey Phil,

Thanks for reaching out to support! Can you please confirm what version of Kofax you're trying to publish?

If you're unable to source the correct package, then I would suggest reaching out to the vendor to confirm if you have access to that specific version of the product.

KofaxPowerPDFAdvanced-5.0.0.21.msi

Can you also confirm that this is where you're trying to access the files:
https://delivery.kofax.com/Downloads

You can send screenshots to my email via [email protected]

I understand the need for a manual download, I've gone to their site and successfully logged in, but |I'm not able to get the required msi file(s). I can only get the generic set up not the msi shown as required in the PMPC log, any ideas?

I wonder if the detection could be setup, to still detect that an old version (using the old name) is installed, and show that it should be replaced with the new version (using the new name)?

That seems to make the most sense, to me, to tell the user that they have an old version that needs to be updated, which is the intent of Patch My PC.

And thank you for reporting this! :)

Eh, I new your app needed a change as well, which is why I posted. Thank you for fixing its detection, soon.

This is the vendor's problem, v8.10 didn't replace v8.06! And they also changed the name! That's why Patch My PC is detecting both! We will improve this is the next big update of the home updater, it will no longer detect the older versions installed, just the latest one, and will not have a problem with the name changes.
