No. You didn't understand. I had updated from within Vivaldi, and for whatever reason it hadn't uninstalled the older version, so I had vivaldi installed twice. PatchMyPC understood this and would not upgrade but showed the older version. The same issue was with Java. I had two version installed, the current one and a previous one.

I continued to read in this forum and found another person with a similar issue. They were told that in fact, the issue was that an update didn't uninstall the  previous one, so there were two versions installed. I checked and that was the case for both java and Vivaldi.

Not really. I'm on the regular channel for Vivaldi, and currently it is a higher version than the patch patchmypc is using so patch my pc shows it in red, but won't update. Essentially, patch my pc's patches are behind for Vivaldi and Java 64 bit. I'm guess in a day or two they will update to catch up  with what has been updated by the company.

Oracle is no longer offering the Java Runtime for business settings, so we cannot update it on computers used for business. Two options are potentially good: AdoptOpenJDK or Corretto. I'd like to see at least AdoptOpenJDK offered.

QuoteHow can I do that?
Right click on that program in red or go to control panel and add/remove programs.

Also, many of us do not use Onedrive and it doesn't get updated in Windows update. Also, Windows Update seems very very slow in updating Onedrive even with Auto update on. I worry that since it is on my computer and not getting updated by Microsoft, that it still poses a vulnerability.
