I see that this behavior has not changed.
I suspect that you are manually updating PatchMyPC with the software lists.
May I suggest that instead you maintain only a single list of software which you check for updates.
Do not categorize software into Common and Other.
Do not maintain a separate list of software which may be skipped.
On the single software list, provide a checkbox for each item to allow it to be skipped.
I expect that such a new approach would be much easier for you to maintain and also for your customers to use.

Google Chome 30.0.1599.101 is installed, but PatchMyPC is showing that I need to upgrade to this same version.

I do not know if this is a feature request or a bug.
Not all software listed as Other is available to Always Skip under Options.
It would be helpful to note in an Update Status report that a particular software item is Not Compliant but will be bypassed by Perform Update because it is currently checked on the Always Skip list.
