Patchmypc catalog reports both x86 and x64 versions of Edge installed for all machines. Pushed edge update in Intune and piloted but all 15 tested machines returned saying the update wasn't applicable. For the x86 version it reported, "Device architecture (e.g. x86/amd64) is not applicable for the application." For the x64 versions it reported,d "PowerShell script requirement rule is not met."

Verified on a machine that edge itself reports as the 64 bit version but is installed in program files (x86) and can only find in in the wow6432node portion of the registry. I'm not entirely sure what the detection script for the 64bit edge is looking for but it failed to identify that the edge version running is older than the update.

I'd had to start messing around with editing the detection script so figured I'd ask for suggestions first before building my own detection.

Thanks!

Pushed the Nessus Agent 10.8.2 update through Intune and 4 of 14 failed with the error "The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed. (0x80070641)". I checked one of the affected hosts and the Windows Installer service startup type is manual and the status is stopped not disabled. Any idea why the MSI couldn't install on these machines? Let me know if I need to provide additional details.
