Yes,The error code 0x80091007 (-2146889721) usually indicates a hash mismatch of the binary. Could you try the following steps and share your feedback?

  • Remove the update and republish it without the MST.
  • Check if the correct AV/EDR exclusions are in place.

If AV/Republish does not help, then we may need to review the logs to pinpoint the issue.

Hi Nithin,

We need the mst as there are features in Nitro that need to be removed.
Any chance we can do the testing whilst keeping the mst?

Thanks

Hi,

We are trying to deploy Nitro PDF Pro NLS 14 version 14.34.1.0 to our Nitro users but the update fails straight after downloading with error 0x80091007(-2146889721). When I google this error, it seems to be a hash mismatch error. If I check the CAS log, it cannot find the content from the local cache folder, it no longer exists. It seems like it downloads but then deletes straight away and cannot run the update.
For what it's worth, I have also added an .mst to the app in Patch My PC.

Any ideas on how to solve this, all our other apps are working fine via PMPC.

Thanks

I think this might be resolved now.
As it has been updating for some users, I uninstalled my version and reinstalled it again with the older version mst. This time it has updated successfully via Patch my PC so I must have had a buggy install.
I'm testing with other users but I think we may be fine.

Hi All,

I am trying to push out SnagIT updates via Patch My PC but for most of our SnagIT users Intune or SCCM report the the computer is not applicable for the update.
So for my machine, I packaged SnagIT 2024 via SCCM (before we moved to PMPC). My package has a Transform file. With PMPC, I created a new .mst for version 2024.3.0 but Intune just reports it's not valid with "PowerShell script requirement rule is not met."
I have been running into the same issue with previous version of SnagIT 2024 updates.

Has anyone run into similar issues with this?
Thanks
