Quote from: Omar (Patch My PC) on November 18, 2024, 12:28:37 AMSo the key you deleted that fixed this is related to "HP Scanning"?
Correct - it was HP Scan/HP Scanning, which is part of their printer driver bundle for all-in-one printers.

There was nothing in the Apps/Programs & Features list with that exact version.
However, a search for 140.0.80.000 in the registry found it in a few locations, all linked to "HP Scanning", which looked to be part of an old HP printer driver.
Said HP printer driver bundle was in the Add/Remove Programs as version 14.0. I uninstalled it, but no change.

I then started manually deleting keys from the registry and checking PMPC each time a key was deleted. Farbar finally went away when I deleted the key located in:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

Testing the latest version on multiple machines, one is showing this in the My Apps list, but I've never installed it, much less through PMPC and neither the app nor the installer for this app exist anywhere on this machine.

I would like to know why it's being detected and where PMPC thinks it is located, but there is no other info available.

Thank you!

There used to be an option "Don't delete app installer files" in the previous version.
Seems this is now missing and all downloaded files are deleted upon successful install.
Can this feature be added back to v5.x?

Is there a way to see the path of installed apps in PMPC?
Maybe a popup when mousing over the app in the list?
This would be helpful when the x86 & x64 versions of an app are installed, or there is an app installed in 2 directories.

Currently if you run Patch My PC and perform all available updates, if an update for a different app subsequently becomes available, Patch My PC will not detect it until it is relaunched.
Can a "full" rescan option be added so a relaunch isn't necessary?
Thank you!

No worries. It's certainly not a show-stopper, but appreciate the update regardless :)

Here for this exact same issue. The only difference being that FileZilla Server is now up to v1.7.2.
I suspect not many are running the server, but it's definitely odd that PMPC detects it, yet doesn't show FileZilla Server in the list of apps, only "FileZilla" (client).
Currently running Patch My PC v4.5.0.3
