No, JavaScript is working fine.
BUT . . . . . .
I tried a lot to get rid of the error, also installed a totaly new version of the program, but the error stayed.
But today, everything is working fine!!!
I gess that the cause must have been outside my PC.

For now; problem solved!

After using the prog for a long time without ant problem I suddenly get the attached screen.
Updating to the very last version did not help.
Anybody?
