Hey Raunak,

Good to know - thanks for sharing.
I have now checked "check the local content repository" - and ran a manual publishing service sync.

The file is picked up from the local repository - and deployed.

Report is still flagging the failed download - but the software is deployed :)

I have attached screenshots for anyone stumbling upon this thread - and perhaps wondering where to find the checkbox for local repository.

Consider this case solved!

Hello there,

My daily publishing report shows the following error - regarding Tableau Desktop 22 22.3.2825 (x64)
Following your guidelines here.
Getting the download URL from PatchMyPC.log:

https://downloads.tableau.com/esdalt/2022.3.16/TableauDesktop-64bit-2022-3-16.exe

I have no issues whatsoever downloading the exe-file - hence no blocking on my side.
I tried downloading the file - and copied it to my local repository folder - but it doesn't get picked up at the next sync cycle.

I have had this in my report since May 01 - 2024.
What to do?

Hey Liviu,

Awesome that you enjoyed your stay!

I tried downloading the online installer instead (following your link in #1) - and it turns out that MSI file from the online installer differs from the one I can download via the Fortinet support site.

Uploaded this MSI file to my local repository and ran a new publishing service sync.
The MSI file was picked up without any issues.

Consider this case resolved!

I believe so (se attached)

And thank you for a good presentation @ Experts Live in Denmark last week  :)

On second thought - I will give it another shot - with downloading the online installer - instead of the msi-file from their support website

Hello Patch My PC.

I have downloaded the zip file from Forti website:

FortiClientSetup_7.2.4.0972_x64.zip

extracted the MSI-file - and uploaded it to my local PmP repository.
I'm getting this error:

The digest of the local content file does not match the expected one

Can you look into this matter?
Seems it has been an issue previously this year

Finally has been resolved as per 30-07-2023

Software now downloaded and published.

Consider this case resolved.

Thanks for confirming @phil_ashling

Any news on this Patch my PC?

Hi there,

There seems to be a problem download the latest EPOS Connect 7.6.1.42114 software.
Here is what I get in my daily status report. (see attachment)

Its has been like this for 5 days now.
I have downloaded the needed file manually - and placed it in the local repository for Patch my PC
(BTW this didn't solve the problem - I'm still getting the error in my daily report)

Just wanted to let you know.

Regards VIK

Hi there,

Having modified the toast pop up - to match our needs.
However when the toast is shown on a test client - it contains old obsolete information.

E.g. the banner image is wrong - and the text is the default english template - instead of the modified text.

What do I need to update - to make sure the correct toast is shown on the clients?
I can see the package for e.g. Notepad++ contains the NotificationLocalization.xml - but with outdated information.

I have tried re-downloading installation files for Notepad++ to no avail.

thanks for the quick response! i found the area to customize, however, i am unable to hit OK to save the changes. I wonder if this is a limitation as we are currently on the 30 day trial, and are working with a reseller to purchase an annual subscription as we are impressed with this software!!

If there is no limitation to save the custom toast for conflicting apps on a trial, then i wonder what I am doing wrong for not being able to save.

Cheers

Hey

To save these changes you need to populate all intents and languages using the drop downs provided.

Problem solved.

Thanks Scott@patchmypc - that did the trick.

I had been experimenting with the toast notification settings - and had unintentionally removed the contents from the Uninstall and Update drop down.
Adding content back solved the problem.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Hello,

Got a patch my pc installation integrated with SCCM and Intune.

I'm trying to customize toast notifications for a few apps (e.g. Notepad++)
However I'm not able to hit OK - to save my changes. (see attachment)

Any suggestions on how to fix this?
