Currently it will get overridden, I see you've already created an idea over on our ideas page that would be the first step in getting it implemented.
I am curious though what custom uninstall command were you trying to pass?

This is the expected behavior.
0x87D00324 = The application was not detected after installation completed.

I would suggest opening a ticket by emailing [email protected] and if you could include the following logs that would be great! These logs would come from a client machine that's experiencing the problem IE not having Java 7 uninstalled.

The app required for the the local content repository is actually the Teamviewer HOST MSI the regular teamviewer client doesn't require the manual download.
