This is a topic that was raised before about 2 years ago (https://patchmypc.com/forum/index.php?topic=2811.msg7391#msg7391) but as far as I can tell it has not been resolved. The subject line pretty much says it all. Avidemux keeps reinstalling and will not install silently. Dialogue boxes come up and the installation will not proceed without options being selected.

Great program and thank you, but the way this context menu works for choosing download and update options is EXTREMELY confusing and seems backward. When something is green with a check mark, that means the feature is disabled. That to me is exactly backwards from the way it should be. Anyone else feel this way? Thx

Every time Irfanview updates I lose my preferences. To make matters worse, the .config file is placed in the program folder in read only mode so the only way I can get my prefs back to where I want them I have to do a complete uninstall and reinstall of the program. Just letting you know.
