Is the consensus to just use the built-in downloads for Edge in MECM and not use Patch? If Patch is to be used for Edge, will there be a way to distinguish between the Edge Stable and Edge Stable Extended versions?

Are the configuration settings in Patch my PC user or machine specific? Or, if it's a combination of both, is there a list showing which settings are user specific?
