Title: Home Updater v.5.1.0.0 issue
Post by: Gedinfo on March 23, 2025, 07:56:11 PM
I was running a prior version of the software, and having no issues with clicking on the outdated software, which installed without any problems.  With the latest version, v.5.1.0.0, I click on the Outdated area, UPDATING, DOWNLOADING 0.0% message appears, does not advance, and the screen reverts back to Outdated. The end result is no update occurs.
My system is running Windows 10 Home, 64 bit.

And I'm getting an error message on two machines. I have several Windows computers and have not tried the others, but I suspect I'd get the same on them, too. I have tried to attach the error message, but, apparently, there is no way to do it as it is not a video, while it is an image, it is not on the internet, it does not have a link, and it is not an email. It looks like an attachment must be one the types I mentioned, so I will type it out ...

"Alert

"We are sorry, but there was an error.
Message Server request failed."Status: 500 (Server encountered an internal error. Please try again ater some time.)
Error Code: InternalError"

"HEADERS:

Connection: Keep-alive
x-ms-request-id: 8818dc12-001e-0076-1cca-9d6f32000000
x-ms-error-code" InternalError
cf-cache-status:REDACTED
Strict-Transport-Security:REDACTED
x-Content-Type-Options: REDACTED
Server: cloudflare
CF-RAY: REDACTED"

I hope the above helps ... it is good software when it works.

We are working on this now, it's an Azure issue.
