does anyone experience issues with VMware Horizon Client updates. We have some users where the update fails in Software Center. Checking the client, we see that in control panel there are previous versions, one or two, visible. It is not possible to uninstall or repair them. Also tried to download the versions and manually uninstall or repair, but it always fails.
For some the in the program files, you will find already the new version, but not in control panel. For other there is the old version in program files or a lot of files missing.
It seems that already a previous update maybe had a issue or broke something.

This can happen if an uninstall fails partway through. It will leave the app registered, but not fully installed. Typically, these issues are not widespread and limited to a smaller subset of devices. If you are seeing this on a large number of devices, I would recommend opening a support case https://patchmypc.com/technical-support
