Title: Dell Command Endpoint Configure for Microsoft Intune | 0x80070004
Post by: Mika-Zaja on August 19, 2024, 03:24:25 AM
Hi guys,

We're currently testing PMP and are getting error 0x80070004 with Dell Endpoint Configure. Other programs are working fine with no issues.
We have not made any changes to the install.

Any ideas? If logs are needed, just let me know what logs are needed ;)

Thanks!

Hello Mika-Zaja,

I deleted my previous comment, as it applied to the "Dell Command Update"

I realized that you were referring to another software.

Dell Command Endpoint Configure requires "Microsoft .NET Core Desktop Runtime 6 (EXE-x64)" to be installed.
That is a known dependency (https://patchmypc.com/known-issues-and-considerations-when-using-patch-my-pc) for this software.
Please make sure that Microsoft .NET Core Desktop Runtime 6 is installed on the device and then try again.

If it still fails, please collect the logs and open a support case.

It works. Thank you for the link! Didnt saw the official list for Known Dependencys.

No worries at all; the page is not advertised as much as it should.

I'm happy it worked, many thanks for the update!
