Title: Turning Off Auto Update
Post by: shotogo on February 26, 2015, 09:51:00 AM
Hello - I'm looking into using the Patch My PC SCUP catalog and have a question around it.  Currently we push out updates manually through SCCM.  For example.  Java.  When we deploy it we turn off the auto updating.  When we patch from SCUP will it overwrite settings with the defaults. Will auto updating get turned back on?  Can you specify command lines for the patch installs?

Thanks,
Rick

Hello,

Yes, we actually disable Java updates by default, but you can customize this see: https://patchmypc.net/java-wrapper-script-version-3
