Title: Citrix Workspace App Offline Install
Post by: jstrong on April 29, 2024, 01:20:26 PM
Hi All,

I have a subnet with no internet access, so the regular installer fails when it can't pull down .net core 6.0 runtime.

Wondering if anyone pushes Citrix Workspace App via PMPC, but deploys the 'Offline' installer.
https://www.citrix.com/downloads/workspace-app/windows/workspace-app-for-windows-latest.html

I might just replace the executable with a renamed version of the offline installer and see what happens.
Does PMPC do any sort of hash check?

For PMPC, is this something you guys could package separately, or build into the right click options for applications that support an 'online/offline' installer?

Thanks!

We'll check out that installer. I believe if you install .NET 6 before workspace, the online installer will still work. If you replace the binary for the ConfigMgr App after Patch My PC has created it, we won't flag it. Hash checks occur after the binary is downloaded from the internet before it is placed in the package.
