Title: Typical Timeline for Publishing Updates to the PMPC Catalog
Post by: ben_12345 on August 08, 2023, 03:04:23 PM
Wondering what the typical timeline is for an update to make it into the catalog after it's been published by the vendor.  I'm sure it varies depending on how much of a pain the vendor is :)  But take Adobe Reader for example. I don't know what time they generally have a patch published by for the usual monthly patch tuesday update.  But it seems to be in the catalog by sometime in the afternoon of patch tuesday.  Trying to work out when to run things in SCCM to get updates staged and would like to be able to have it all done and ready to roll by end of day patch Tuesday.  Which works fine for all the MS stuff; it's in SCCM if I do a sync around noon PT.  So now just wondering when we can typically expect to be able to pull things in from PMPC with the understanding that there's going to be some delay.
