Title: Should older updates still be showing up and assigned in Intune?
Post by: pmpcu on May 31, 2023, 11:51:04 AM
Should older updates still be showing up and assigned in Intune?

Or should they eventually drop off with superseding updates?

I'm about a month into Patch My PC, and I'm not sure if I did some things wrong. I'm wondering if there could be conflicts between older updates that are still showing up in Intune and are also still showing up as assigned in Intune. I've been assigning these manually with each new update, but I think there may be a way to set this up to handle new update releases from Patch My PC automatically.

I am I off base here? What is the correct way to do this/best practice?

Yes if you are only manually assigning them and you have the copy assignments turned off.  https://patchmypc.com/intune-application-creation-options#topic2

It might be beneficial to have an environmental review with us to go over this with you https://calendly.com/patch-my-pc-live-demos/patch-my-pc-environment-review-session
