Title: Recast Console Extension - Prompting for Reboot
Post by: gsterling on April 20, 2023, 07:33:38 AM
Hi,

After the Recast Console Extension update installs SCCM keeps asking for a reboot. Offhand I don't think it requires one. Is there a way to verify if this is needed and fix it if it isn't? Is this based on the return code of the install? Thanks.

Hi there,

Without checking in the lab, the reason ConfigMgr prompts a restart will be because the application installer returns a soft reboot require return code - almost definitely 3010.
