Title: Adobe Flash Player Removal Tool Install - Error 0x87D00324
Post by: jgcovalt on May 18, 2021, 01:10:52 PM
Trying to test the deployment of the Adobe Flash Player Removal Tool, and the installation appears to work, but I'm getting the error code 0x87D00324.

This appears to be related to the detection method, but this product uses a PowerShell script for detection when deployed by PatchMyPC. Any ideas for how to eliminate this error?

This is the expected behavior.
0x87D00324 = The application was not detected after installation completed.

Trouble is, I need it to be detected, otherwise we won't know what machines actually failed to install, if any, versus what machines succeeded but then had this detection issue. How do I make the detection succeed so the SCCM console won't show an error on the monitor?

Hi,

When deploying this product as an application, you can deploy it with an uninstall intent and it will work properly.

Its should be deployed as mnadatory installation or uninstallation via intune?

Use the uninstall intent. Both will work but install will show as an error.
