Title: Disabling Auto-Update for 1 Application without Affecting My Updates
Post by: jt-65 on October 16, 2019, 06:54:53 AM
I deploy and patch Java 8 via PMPC and SCCM.  I just discovered that I disabled auto-updates in my Java 8 update rule, but not in its application rule.  I want to disable auto update for this application rule and keep all of the software versions the same.  Oracle just released a new version of Java yesterday, and I'm in the middle of my monthly patch testing.  Can I do this?  Or do I just need to re-sync, download what downloads and unleash it on my testers?

You should be able to apply the settings and re-sync the service to have it apply now.

Oh thank you.  I was so worried I was going to have to re-sync, and then I'd have to sit there for the next week with egg on my face.
