Hey,

Yeah, we saw that release. It looks like the MSI is just encapsulating the EXE installer to make it easier to deploy via like a GPO method. Yesterday, we released Firefox 65.0, and we did continue to use the EXE installer since we don't currently see any value to move to the MSI today. We will keep this in mind though.

Sadly still no MSI for the ESR version

You would think they would have started with the ESR version for the MSI installer :)

I think the first MSI for ESR will be on 09-July-2019 which is scheduled for the first ESR of Firefox 68.0 (First major ESR after 60.x.x)

yes msi for esr is out! we deploy it already...
