Title: Install software vs Patching
Post by: SST on March 16, 2018, 01:28:24 AM
Hello,

I'm actually plan tu use PatchMyPC Scup Catalog with sccm... (sorry if my question is out of scope...)

It's possible to use PatchMyPC catalog to propose installation of program to user in software center ?
In other word, do you support only patching ? or installation on clean computer is also supported ?

Thanks a lot
SST

Hi,

Thanks for this feedback. We have actually got a few request around this topic. Currently, the SCUP update rules are designed in a way to only update existing installed applications. We may look into possibly extending this for new installs in the future.

I'm sure the software installation is good over patching.
