Auto suspend older versions of updates

Is there a way with the publishing service to auto-suspend older versions of updates?
For example currently in SCCM it shows two different versions of Acrobat Reader, version 20 and 21. Both are not suspended and not expired. But I only want the newest version as an update.
The same happens with Paint.Net and PDF24.

Hey FabinaR

You can decline updates in WSUS using the Run Wizard tool in the Publisher: https://patchmypc.com/modify-published-third-party-updates-wizard

Declining updates in WSUS and syncing your SUP will show those updates as expired in the ConfigMgr console.

Hi Adam

Yes, I know that functionality.
My question was if there is a function that does this automatically in case a new version comes out.
Like with Windows update that supersedes older Windows updates automatically.

We do supersede updates. Versions 15, 17, 20 and 21 are major versions which are still in support by Adobe.

If you no longer want these updates, deselect them from the Publisher and decline them in WSUS. Note: deselecting products in the publish does not remove existing updates from your environment, you still need to decline them.
