just wanted to post an update after reviewing the smsts.log file we could see it was attempting to install v.24 of the application but it should have been v.37 so the task sequence was trying to pull an older version of the application for some reason.

My solution was deleting the PMPC application and resyncing and re-adding the updated application back into the Task Sequence following theis artivle to remove apps and source content https://patchmypc.com/how-to-delete-applications-created-by-patch-my-pc-in-sccm

The update works fine, thanks!

PatchMyPC works well for me, but I have an irritating issue whereby I have an app installed - Handbrake - which I cannot prevent from always trying to install an earlier version of the app.

I cannot right click on it or untick it in the left-hand pane.

The last officially supported version of Handbrake for Win 8.1 is 1.4.2, but I am using 1.5.1 with no problems - this may be the source the problem - see picture.

Is there a way to force an exception in these cases?

Note also that MS "snipping tool" cannot get a screen image of PatchMyPC, as PMPC resets the left-pane to the top of the list as soon as you try to screen capture. Hence my poor photo.

Hello Mark,

I believe it will keep the customizations that are in place when updating.
Received the latest version of Slack, version and pushed this out to our users.

Every user is receiving this error: 0x80070667

Description: Invalid Command Line Argument. Consult the Windows Installer SDK for detailed command line help.

We don't have any custom command lines for this update.  The only thing checked off is "publish updates using full content - MSI installer"

Previous versions updated fine, but this version is throwing off this error for some reason.

Two issues: PMPC is showing PDF XChange Editor 9.4.363.0 in red, but without a way to update it (no software detected). In addition, my current version is .364.
