Please do not use the "Reboot after update" setting, it will put your PC in a reboot loop every time you try and launch PatchMyPC. If I could find the config file and delete it I may be able to fix it. Deleting the PatchMyPC.exe file and redownloading does not correct the problem.
Just a heads up,
Jason
Do you also have the option enabled for auto start updates?
Can you send a screenshot of the registry here: HKLM\software\patch My pc\options
Yes the auto start updates are checked.
Jason
I have already deleted all of the files and deleted all traces in the registry as well as the user profiles but the problem still persists. I have to wipe the machine, I have no choice I need to have this PC back up and running.
Jason
Delete the PatchMyPC.ini file if you choose to export the files to INI?
Dealing with the same issue today, any resolution?
UPDATE:
Manually deleted all registry entries which yielded search results for patchmy and the issue was resolved.
You can clear all the saved settings by deleting the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Patch My PC\Options
Thank-you for the reply.
