Title: Old Vendors
Post by: mkmaster78 on August 31, 2018, 08:59:57 AM
When you guys consolidated all the updates to be under one Publisher and one Product, it left a whole bunch of products and publishers in WSUS.  Is there anyway to remove these products and publishers from WSUS's catalog completely, just for cleanliness sake?

Your old updates for the old vendors would need to be deleted from WSUS. This can be done in our modify updates wizard in our publishing service https://patchmypc.net/publishing-service-setup-documentation. After that is done, you need to run the WSUS cleanup wizard it should clean up the old vendors.

In the current version, there is no vendor column for sorting but we will be adding this column in the next update see below

Is there a method doing this without your publishing service? We only have a license for your catalog.

Not today, but you can use this feature even without a license entered.
