I can imagine!
I tried scrolling though a lot of the posts so that I wasn't requesting duplicates and you guys are really stacked with requests. I felt kind of bad making my request list but figured it couldn't hurt to throw it out there.

Thanks again for the awesome work, guys  :)

First things first
- let me preface this by saying that this utility has made my life easier in more ways than I can measure.

I work in the IT dept for a local (but HUGE) call center and I run a computer repair side business and PatchMyPC has made my job so much easier in both fields. I'm not the type of guy who is satisfied to just "fix" someones computer, I want to make it "theirs".
Helping them pick out, download, install and configure the applications that they need in daily life really makes my clients happy, and this application makes me happy by making that process painless.
Thank you SO MUCH for this utility. When I'm out of debt, I fully intend to make regular donations to support your project. I mean it.

Next, I want to add that I know many of the programs below have "bloatware" in their installers, but I propose a workaround- I say that we allow the "installation" of the portable versions of some of the apps.
For instance. I know that the standard installer for 'Speccy' has bloatware in it's silent installer. Sucks, but what can you do? The portable version does not. What would be awesome is if there was an option to download/ update the portable version of many apps. Most of the programs that are "portable" are updated through the same channels that their "installer" versions are, so access to the files themselves should be just as easy as access to the installers. You could just have the portable version of the app go into a new folder in the C: drive with the same title that the "installer" version would have gone in, or even in a new folder of the same name with "portable" added to it- then have a shortcut added to the desktop.

On that note, I know that many of the applications which I am requesting to not have actual installers, they run much like a portable app would and I envision a similar solution for those apps if one is needed.

Below are some programs that I install any time I install a fresh OS and would loooooove to see support for in PatchMyPC:

Comodo Internet Security Suite Free
This is my favorite security suite because of how robust it's features are for a free suite

YTD Video Downloader

This is the best one that I've found, if anyone has a better suggestion I'm open to it. I was just using Free Download Manager but it doesn't let you choose the quality of the video

FileDrop
Allows you to share files and folders with between your computer and tablet with drag/drop operation without any hassle over wifi. It's crazy fast, too

Sandboxie

PC Decrapifier
Automation tool to remove tons of bloatware that comes on new computers

Macrium Reflect Free
Please note that there are separate 32/64 bit installers
I have tried dozens of disk cloning tools and this one takes the cake for me. It's dead simple as far as user-friendly, I've NEVER had it fail to clone a drive correctly, TONS AND TONS of options in the advanced settings. Can clone entire drives, individual partitions, incremental and scheduled backups, different compression methods, options to directly clone to another drive or create an image of the selected drive/ partition, create rescue media so that you can boot from a USB stick and restore your clone/image to a new or repaired drive.... and soooooo much more. This thing has saved my butt more times that I care to shake a stick at.

UNetbootin
Similar to LILI but more robust

Rufus
Similar to UNetbootin and LILI but much smaller and a few different options

`Final thought
I know that this was a large list and some of the applications may have already been requested in the past. I apologize if that's the case. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help, and thanks again for everything. You guys ROCK!

Hey guys I just tried again today after the update and it's fixed :)
#4
I just tried uninstalling/reinstalling my video drivers, made sure that Windows is up to date and tried using the "Share window" function in TeamViewer, still no Bueno... As a last resort I crated a guest profile and still nothing :(
Anyone figure out a workaround?
#5
I just did an clean upgrade to windows 10 from my windows 7 PC and I cannot see the "Perform Updates or Re-Check Software" buttons that should be at the bottom right. I have tried every available resolution on my PC and cannot get it figured out. I tried stretching the window as large as it will go, even tried hooking up a much larger external monitor and stretching it out over there to no avail. The program still works fine on my other computers... Anyone run into this before? Is there any way to manually change the windows size in PatchMyPc through a config file or anything like that?

Thanks in advance!
