The HWiNFO64 folder already exists because it's an update. Why wouldn't it exist?

Report Bugs and Issues (Free Home Updater) / HWinfo x64
February 22, 2018, 11:51:02 AM
I'm not sure if this is a bug or what, but whenever I use PatchMyPC to install HWinfo x64 (I run Win10 x64)  HWinfo throws up a requester asking if I want to run the program (bottom image in attachment). If it is an update rather than a clean install I get the error that the program already exists (top image in attachment) and once that is cleared away I get the do you want to run the program requester (bottom image in attachment). When these happen installation of other program may or may not continue or fail.

This has only occurred in 4.0.0.0 and I've just now installed 4.0.0.1 so I don't know if it still applies. But when PatchMyPC self updated from the 3.x series to the 4.0 series it didn't carry along the "DO NOT UPDATE" settings from 3.x.  The upshot of this is that it uninstalled my MalwareBytes Corporate 1.80.x program and license and installed the Home Premium 3.x unlicensed version. This is a VERY bad thing. Hopefully this error has been or will get fixed quickly.

Thanks Marvalsys. Exactly what I needed to know. I don't know why I didn't think to look there.  :o

Is there a way to edit the scheduled time? It only seems to want to schedule the time to when I last edit the schedule. This of course is during the day. I would like it to run during the night when I'm not using the system.  I've looked for .ini and .xml files as well as checked the Registry (HKLM). Where is the schedule kept?
