TeamViewer 15.9.4 Error

The hash of file downloaded is different than the file hash in our catalog. Hash errors happen when vendors release updates that
aren't available in our catalog yet. This error should be resolved in the next catalog update.

There is a severe security issue fixed with the latest patch: https://threatpost.com/teamviewer-fhigh-severity-flaw-windows-app/158204/
This is the moment PMP should show what its worth for us.
Any other escalation possibilities for customers besides the forum?

This security patch was released last month in v15.8.3

Hi Omar,

I understand your point.
But only for this security issue we enabled Teamviewer updates through PMP for version 15.
At this point we still don't have any Teamviewer v15 in the software updates library because of the hash mismatch.

Hello,

Unfortunately, TeamViewer seems to be distributing different files from different parts of their Content Delivery Network. This is causing a hash mismatch for some of our customers.

You can use this link -> https://patchmypc-my.sharepoint.com/:u:/p/cody/EdjzLBwnjoJAueEXrgFkrDkB4L_KfSLsICpF3xsW_WNbAg?e=SIHK2u to get a copy of TeamViewer 15 that matches the hash in our catalog.

We are currently waiting for TeamViewer to have a consistent hash across their CDN to update the value in our catalog.

In the meantime, you can use the link above and use our local content repo option described in the link below.

Unfortunately, this is a TeamVeiwer vendor issue. We are reaching out to them in hopes they can help us understand why their download links provide an inconsistent binary.

Yeah, I figured you understood  :)

It is a frustrating experience for us as well. Most vendors, by a large margin, do not give us these hash mismatch headaches!!
