confusing.  misleading info.  When I click iobit uninstaller  "check for updates' it tells me, now, after receiving your reply, that I am up to date.  (see attached pic).  Yet at the iobit site, when I click on download for uninstaller, it takes me to cnet site which has the 9.1.0.11 .

iobit uninstaller can't correctly determine whether there is an update? Or doesn't think the x.x.x.x+3 is worth installing?

shows wrong current version for IOBit.  Wants to update to version that IOBit is currently.

I have attached screenshot of Patch My Pc showing incorrect version number, and screenshot of IOBit showing current version .

great. thanks for the quick response
#4
oh.   I am using the free updater.

no, not paid.  perhaps it has a paid feature, but I am not using a paid version.

thanks,
To be clear:  Pnotes is an older edition of the software and is on ver 9.xxx

Pnotes.net is the newer, current version, and is currently 3.8.1.2  .  I have Pnotes.net installed.

No,   this is software for syncing between computers.   https://www.goodsync.com  .

I use Goodsync  (Goodsync.com)  .  No notice from Patch My PC that a newer version is available.

I am using Pnotes.net.   Patch My PC is detecting Pnotes.net as version 3.7.04, in the right side window, in red.  and shows Pnote (not pnotes.net) an older version, which has a higher version number (version 9) and wanting to install it,
I have Pnotes.net  version 3.8.12 installed.

In short, Patch My PC is detecting an older version of Pnotes than I have installed, and then wants to update it with an even older, downgrade of the program.
